Car Wars: Revenge of the Smith

‘Twas a Thursday evening in the run up to Christmas, the weather maintained a winter chill, my Christmas shopping was almost complete and I had one more day to work. Before my final day, I would be making a first cinema trip as a married man. My wife and I were going to be feasting our eyes in glorious IMAX upon the recently released Star Wars film. Delivery Day

Cold. So very cold. The horror of turning in bed onto an un-warmed spot sent shivers through my system. It felt strange to be back in my own bed on a Friday morning. I had gone home for the weekend, away from my travails at university. My brother would be coming round and with mum we would be taking the newest member of the family for a walk. Young Millie had greeted me the previous night like I had been gone for all her life; I was treated like royalty, that is of course if you treat royalty by having a little wee at their feet.
